They are gorgeous cupcake flowers, they look to good to eat....aaahhhh, maybe not; we are talking cupcakes here...lol. This is also for The Limit Supplies LSC239, which is called S.O.S. The ingredients in your card have to meet the S.O.S. requirements. My S.O.S. is S for sewing/stitching, O for the circle shape of the button, and S for the name of the stamp set Simple Blessings. I hope you have a great week and don't forget to check back in the morning when I will share the new Mojo Monday Sketch. Congratulations Nancy

I created this for today's FS138 Nancy, her work is super creative, check it out and play along. I chose her card here to case. Let me give you he deets on this one, the only stamping is the sentiment which is Verve Beautiful Kindness. Isn't the font on this fabulous?
I used the SU butterfly dies to make the butterflies, aren't they gorgeous? You really don't need a whole lot when you use them, they make a statement all their own.

I also used the new SU Shimmerz Paint, this stuff is gorgeous IRL. It is so shimmery, I will be getting the other two colors. I will tell ya, that you need to take more off of your applicator than you put on. I only put on a little, and took off even more but it is still heavy in places. I wasn't happy with that, but hey I am not wasting my Black Prism paper, do you hear me?...lol I added some checkered ribbon and a tiny red button. Let me know what you think and enjoy your afternoon!

Beautiful You

Good mojo Monday morning peeps, I am thrilled to be bringing you this weeks mojo sketch, not only is it is a fabulous sketch, but I am also using the newly released Verve set Swan Song. Well, Julee has done it again, she has made a stamp that can be used in two different ways. When I got this set in the mail, I was like a Swan with legs...lol...and then I saw this card made by Julee Sneaky Wishes. She has designed the swan to be a swan or a peacock, how great is that? Last release she designed the flower from the Enjoy set to be a flower or a butterfly. She is a genius, her ideas are never ending.
Well you know I couldn't wait to make a peacock out of the swan and I paired it with the Beautiful You sentiment from the Beautiful You set. I heat embossed the sentiment onto the card with SU Close to Cocoa ink, versamark, and Judikins embossing powder. I used the EKSuccess Embossed Curve punch to make the larger scallops, I added pearls to the top curves. This punch reminds me of a big fancy curtain on the stage of the opera, don't ya think? I sewed the ribbon on, added the peacock that has been stamped on the Labels Five Nestie shape and layered. I also sponged around the shape, added a few layers to the peacocks wings, and added stickles for some shimmer. The dp is from Making Memories Autumn Splendor pack. I hope you enjoy your Monday and make time to play with the mojo makers this week. To see all the creations with this sketch go to the Mojo Monday Blog.

Happiness for Hostesses Verve Project Parade

Good morning gals, I have brought to you today my project for the Happiness for Hostesses project parade. You can see all the other divas projects over at the Verve Stamps Blog. For my project I used a tin that was in my stash, covered it with Basicgrey Blush dp, distressed it up and added a little sponging. I filled it with coffee beans, it isn't nothing better than fresh ground coffee, add friends and you have a lasting moment in your memory. I am all about the time together. I used the Mega Curved Nesties on both the tin and the card. I used the Plain Jane Romans 12:13 on the card and Delightful & Delicious on the tin. I hope you can join us for the Happiness for Hostesses project, be sure to upload your creation to the Verve Stamps Blog at this post by 8:00 PM Mountain Time on September 12 using Mr Linky. I created this cute set for Amber's Viva La Verve Challenge VLVSEP02 to make a tiny card or set of cards. Hello Pumpkin

Good morning, it's a mojo kind of morning. I hope you have the day off and can get your mojo flowing. This week at the Mojo Monday Blog it is a contest week so it is worth it to submit your creation. You know Julee will be giving away free Verve, you gotta luv that! She is giving away one winner for every 75 submissions up to a max of seven winners....so go get stampin!
I made a little pumpkin card for today. Here is Virginia it it has been cooler at nights (as low as 47 degrees some nights) so I am feeling Fall coming on, it is my favorite time of year. It makes me feel all warm and bubbly inside....lol.
Onto today's card, I used chocolate, more mustard, and tangerine. I am slowly trying to switch all my colors to Prism, it is the best card stock eva. I have a list on the side of my blog that shows which SU colors match Prism. Some of these are my findings and others I have grabbed from other people. Anyway, I popped up the pumpkin, added ribbon and bling to complete my little guy, isn't he the cutest? I hope you enjoy your day!
