Waltzingmouse Sketch/WMSC91-You're So Fabby

Good morning and happy weekend!  I am sharing this weeks Waltzingmouse Sketch Card, it is a one layer card.  I have found that the definition of one layer can mean many things....lol.  It all depends on who you are asking, I do not count the base as a layer, you gotta have that right?  teehehehe.  I was very proud of my "one layer" card, until I realized some gals do not consider this a one layer....lol.  Any who, I have used a fabulous Waltzingmouse set, I used the hounds tooth background stamp from Heirloom Patterns...totally luv this set!  I stamped the background onto a piece of plain designer paper, I adore how it turned out.  I added the sweet and fun sentiment to the bottom; a ribbon bow and there you have it....my one layer card.  I hope you have a great weekend...enjoy!

Mojo Monday Sketch/Mojo234-God Bless U

Good mojo Monday morning peeps, I am sharing with you this weeks Mojo Monday Sketch; it is circle or square week.  I went with the adorable circle card, luv these sweet little guys.  I am going to include my instructions for making a circle card below.  I have used a rust and blue color combo, adding a prima flower, button and twine.  I have used crinkled cardboard for the hearts and a sentiment tag.  The sentiment is from the Verve set Faithful Phrases...I added the hand written "U".  I also played along with Stampin Sisters in Christ, to add lots of embellies...that is certainly my style!  I cannot wait to see what you do with this weeks circle or square option...enjoy!

Circle Card Instructions
I have been asked how I make my circle cards, so I am going to list quick instructions. I am listing two different options
OPTION 1
-cut card stock using the largest circle or scalloped circle nesting label
-score one of the circles on Scor Pal on the first mark(1/2 inch mark) this will be the back part of the card
-decorate the top circle
-put glue on the part above the scored part of the bottom circle and adhere the decorated circle to the bottom
-be sure to line up as much as possible so that your card when free standing is straight

OPTION2
-run a piece of folded card stock through the cuttlebug with a small part exposed above the nesting label
-this option makes it so you do not have to glue, it is held together by the piece that is not cut

I hope this helps, if you need anything else please let me know.
