ETA: Have been asked how I made the flower, it was burlap ribbon. I frayed the end and rolled it onto a Gluber, nothing special.  Made sure the frayed end was the center of the flower.  I hope this helps Christine!

The Verve Diva Dare is under way for the month of May!  There are Verve prizes to be won, so you don't want to miss playing along. I went with a favorite color combo and used a sweet printed chipboard star, luv these!  I used a combination of patterned papers with stripes.  The Verve set I reached for was Let It Be, this is a must have set; lots of versatile sentiments and sweet flowers.  I did not choose the CAS option, I did however tone down the distressing and shabby look.  I kept my luv for lace, sponging, and a mixed patterned turned down distressed corner.  I had a blast creating my Diva Dare card, I hope you have as much fun while in your creating zone too!
